Description
Let’s face it, the incandescent bulb is a dinosaur when it comes to lighting technology. Finally we are able to offer a direct replacement for your current incandescent, fluorescent, and CFL bulbs with these energy-saving LED retrofit bulbs. LEDs are the way of the future and provide illumination while eliminating glass, fragile filament, and harmful mercury. Our LED bulbs use up on average 5 watts of power and have a life span of up to 50,000 hours (which roughly equals to 50 incandescent bulbs depending on use) or even decades! Replace your incandescent bulb with any of our variety of retrofit LED bulbs in order to provide a smooth, uniform light distribution in high-traffic areas of the house or any other area where lights are frequently left on. And just think, you will never have to think about the bulb burning out for years to come! We offer a variety of sizes and styles to meet a wide variety of applications in your home or office.
Features
- Each bulb is rated to have a 50,000+ lifespan – which is equivalent to purchasing over 50 regular incandescent bulbs or 5 compact fluorescent bulbs
- 50,000 hours lit for 24 hours per day lasts over 5 1/2 years
- 50,000 hours lit for 12 hours per day will last over 11 years
- 50,000 hours lit for 8 hours per day will last over 17 years
- 50,000 hours lit for 4 hours per day will last over 34 years
- Retrofit lamps can replace conventional lamps and a wide selection of fixtures. Ultimately saves on energy and maintenance cost
- Incorporates the latest technology to provide a safer and more efficient energy saving approach to LED lamps and fixtures
- Produces no UV or IR radiation
- All bulbs are available in two color temperatures for a constant pure, clear light (no more flickering, headaches and strained eyes from fluorescent bulbs
- SW Soft White (3000°K) – emits a warmer (yellow/red) light
- DL Daylight (5000°) – emits a cool white (bluish) light
- Each bulb produces a very low heat output
- LED bulbs light up instantly at full brightness, even in cold weather
- Complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive which requires the reduction of hazardous substances. Standard incandescent bulbs that are tossed into the trash frequently contain highly toxic gases. Those then enter the landfill where the mercury inside slowly leaches into the soil
- Please note that these bulbs are not compatible with dimmer switches (with the exception of the LED E50 7 Watt Dimmable Retrofit Globe Bulbs)

Product Usage
Why use LED retrofit technology?
- Meets environmental concerns since LEDs do not contain mercury, unlike fluorescent lamps
- LEDs produce more light per watt than incandescent bulbs
- Requires less maintenance since it can last up to 20,000 – 50,000 hours
- Draws about 1/10th the power of conventional lighting which significantly reduces power consumption
- Produces little heat and no UV rays
- LED lamps are shock and vibration proof and durable making it difficult to damage as compared to fluorescent and incandescent bulbs
- LEDs are smaller and more compact, providing more light output per square inch than any other light source
- Constantly turning on and off fluorescent and CFL bulbs eventually causes them to burn out much sooner reducing their life span. However, LEDs can be turned off and on tens of thousands of times and yet will never decrease its life span
- Have a nightlight or hallway light that is on frequently
- Needs a softer, long-lasting bulb while displaying a painting or picture
- Has a kitchen with under-cabinet recessed lighting that is frequently in use and is difficult to change a bulb constantly
- Is seeking an accent light for the porch
- Good for many directional fixtures for use in wall washing and accent lighting
- Wants a softer light source for reading in bed without disturbing others
- Any area where a light is constantly on and does not want the costs of replacing light bulbs or consuming energy
- Would like to provide a safe environment for the family. LED lighting is a healthier alternative because they do not contain fragile filament or mercury compared to standard incandescent bulbs
Summary
If you are seeking a bulb for an area where you frequently have or need the light on and need to last for extended periods without replacements, then an LED bulb is the right choice. We found that a the majority of LEDs out there have a lifespan of 50,000 or more hours versus the CFL’s lifespan of 10,000 hours and the incandescent bulb’s 1,500 hours. We offer a variety of LED bulbs in different sizes, designs, and output powers to adapt to numerous applications throughout your home, business or office. The LED features a very direct field of light and is useful when aimed directly at what you want to light (They do not radiate light in 360 degrees as an incandescent does). So in some situations standard floor and table lamps equipped with an LED may be somewhat dim when trying to read a book since the streams of light are aimed more directly at the ceiling. However, whether you need lights to safely display products, artwork, and signs or need to constantly have a nightlight/ hallway light on throughout the night, the LED will use as little energy as possible providing useful benefits for your wallet, well-being and environment.
