This almost silent air washer covers up to 600 square feet and does double duty as a humidifier and a coarse dust air purifier with some deodorizing capabilities. The real draw of this air washer is its durability. Durability always equate to less landfill waste. In addition, it is designed not to no need any filter replacements - a very eco friendly feature. An ionic stick is included to keep the water tank germ and bacteria free. This is a new air washer from Air-O-Swiss and we are confident about its durability and overall effectiveness.

- Equipped with an Ionic Silver Stick that keeps the water free of harmful bacteria. The Stick releases silver ions in the water over a long period (approximately one year). Silver is effective against more than 650 types of bacteria.

Accessories
Ionic Silver Stick: A specially matched anti-bacteria protection system, ISS (Ionic Silver Stick), prevents the formation of germs in the water bath. Therefore, it is not necessary to use chemical additives to disinfect the water. Replace once a year.
EZ Cal decalcification cleaner: Will remove deposits from the fogging chamber (evaporation chamber). Regular cleaning will extend the life of your appliance and ensure top performance.
Setup/Care
The recommended cleaning intervals depend on the air and water quality, as well as operating times. The upper part of the housing and fan should be removed and wiped out thoroughly with a damp cleaning cloth once to twice a year. Every two weeks the water tank and base should be cleaned and rinsed with a household detergent. Every 4 weeks the humidifying discs should be cleansed since it will accumulate a thin lime scale that decreases the humidity output. They can be easily removed by using the multifunctional fragrance container, which also acts as the disc key.
Replacements: The ionic silver stick is unique, patented solution for killing bacteria and viruses and needs to be replaced approximately once a year
How it Works
Inside the air washer, special humidification discs rotate through a water bath; during this process, the air flowing past the discs is cleaned of contaminants in a natural manner – in the same way that the air is washed clean by rain in nature. Humidification is performed using the self-regulating cold evaporation principle. The air washer thus produces an optimal level of humidity without the need for additional control equipment.
A specially matched anti-bacteria protection system, ISS (Ionic Silver Stick), prevents the formation of germs in the water bath. Therefore, it is not necessary to use chemical additives to disinfect the water.

Expert Review
The price of this air washer is very attractive and for that reason we think our customers will love it. We do wish to point out that you only have two speeds on this machine and no ability to regulate the desired humidity level with a humidistat. For that reason we prefer the higher end Air-O-Swiss models. However, if you have a large, dry space you want to humidify at full blast, want no replacement filters and a cooler mist is fine with you, then this air washer is a very viable option.
