Description

The beauty of the Air-O-Swiss 2055 air washer is that in addition to being a humidifier, it traps pet hair, large dust and pollen particles in its base unit which can be easily cleaned. The Air-O-Swiss 2055 air washer has a manual hygrostat for setting the humidity level. We suggest using a digital hygrometer in the room to ensure that you do not over or under humidify the room. It uses its patented mineral stick for anti- bacterial protection of the water and does not require expensive replacement filters unlike most humidifiers. The Air-O-Swiss air washer is exceptionally fast and is effective in large areas up to 600 or 750 sq. ft.

Setup/Care

The recommended cleaning intervals depend on the air and water quality, as well as operating times. The upper part of the housing and fan should be removed and wiped out thoroughly with a damp cleaning cloth once to twice a year. Every two weeks the water tank and base should be cleaned and rinsed with a household detergent. Every 4 weeks the humidifying discs should be cleansed since it will accumulate a thin lime scale that increases the humidity output. They can be easily removed by using the multifunctional fragrance container, which also acts as the disc key.

Replacements: The ionic silver stick is unique, patented solution for killing bacteria and viruses and needs to be replaced approximately once a year.

Instead of placing two separate units to humidify and purify a room, the 2055 single unit and its technology can perform both tasks leaving more space for other home décor items. The special humidifier discs inside constantly turn through the water and remove many impurities from the air. The pre-ionizer feature causes the dust particles to form clusters, making it easier to be captured by the constant rotating discs. A 10 year warranty on this product can not be beat!
