The Airpura Air Purifiers for Allergen Control feature a deep pleated HEPA filter for maximum air flow and quick removal of irritating particles including mold, bacteria, and pollen. Airpura Air Purifiers have all-metal housing, meaning no plastic off-gassing. They also use long life filters that are biodegradable. Both polydense and optional all cotton muslin prefilters can be washed and reused.

How it Works

Airpura's unique pressure seal on the filter chamber ensures that all of the dirty air passes through the filters. Other systems allow leakage and do not achieve the 99.97% HEPA filtration rating. Additionally, the motor and electrical parts are located in a seperate compartment which prevents off gassing from components and does not allow impurities to be re-introduced into the clean air.

These units are designed specifically to address filtration of allergens and particles from the air. They have a Hi-C carbon weave filter for basic chemical, gas and odor suppression which comes standard on the h600 and is optional on the i600. The i600 is the ultimate unit for serious particle removal with a 3" deep-pleated HEPA with over 100 sq. ft. of filtration surface area. The h600 has 1" pleated HEPA with a metal cap providing over 40 sq. ft. of filtration surface area.
