Setup/Care

Moisten toothbrush. Pump Revitin Oral Therapy paste onto brush in the usual manner. After brushing, rinse. Replace overcap onto pump immediately after each use.

Visiting her recently, she strategically placed Revitin in my bathroom. So why not, I thought, I'll give it a try. WOW! I have sensitive teeth from a car accident and had been using toothpaste for sensitivity that still bothered me. Not so here! Best I've used! It's citrus flavor is refreshing and this non-foaming style toothpaste leaves your mouth feeling clean all day. But these wonderful benefits are also the problem, as every time I would go to brush I could not find the pump... until I look in my daughter's bathroom. She may only be six but she is very smart and prefers natural products (really) and once she tasted my Revitin, all bets of who possessed it were off. I am very happy she is using it as it is definitely the healthier alternative to store bought toothpaste, but now I have to buy more for me!

Summary

This is a Sodium Lauryl Sulfate(SLS)-free product. SLS is a highly effective surfactant and is used in any task requiring the removal of oily stains and residues. For example, it is found in higher concentrations with industrial products including engine degreasers, floor cleaners, and car wash soaps. It is used in lower concentrations with toothpastes, shampoos, and shaving foams.

Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), is placed into toothpastes and some mouthwashes in order to create foaming. The harshness of this chemical has been proven to create microscopic damage to the oral tissue which lines the inside of your mouth, which then leads to canker sores. Frequent canker sore sufferers should certainly try Revitin toothpaste as the is no SLS to further irritate the inside of the mouth.
