The Sinkpositive is a retrofitted sink basin that attaches to the top of any toilet tank and allows diversion of clean tank water during flushing to the sink faucet for hand washing. The water then flows to the toilet bowl for the next flush. This eliminates water usage from the bathroom sink, thus saving water. The water runs automatically from the aerated spout, so it's a great reminder for young children on the importance of hand-washing, and there is no concern over knob turning for those with arthritis, or anxiety over faucet handle cleanliness. Setup/Care

No maintenance

Step 1:
Identify
a. Bowl refill Supply Tube and
b. Overflow pipe
Step 2:
a. Turn off water
b. Remove existing lid
c. Remove existing supply tube
Step 3:
a. Assemble faucet and attach tubes. Place on tank and attach tubes to existing plumbing.
Step 4:
a. Secure Johnnyboy to tank with putty supplied.
b. Adjust lid for best fit.
c. Turn on water for best flow.

In the lid replacement format, the device is not code compliant (IAPMO Standards) and is considered a user installed after market accessory. However, codes may vary by municipality opening the possibility of the product to be accepted by local governing officials. A patented wall-mount version of the sink is currently being developed to meet national plumbing codes as well as the ADA's assistive device requirements.
