conscious products and information. We understand it’s important to work on reducing our own impacts to the
planet, so we look for areas in our business and products that do not meet green standards, and make a change.
We also want to provide ways to help others create positive environmental change. This commitment results in the
following list of our green initiatives which are underway:
Our products are packaged with as little packaging as required to safely get the piece to your
door. We use recycled cardboard boxes and recycled padding inside the box when possible.
Most communities recycle cardboard at the curb so you too can continue to recycle the box
and packaging. We have designed the majority of our product to ship in boxes that are as
small as possible. This helps on a couple of different levels, 1) it makes the shipping less
expensive and 2) it means more products can be shipped on the same truck, plane, boat, train, etc. helping to cut
down on shipping emissions in general. We also ship the majority of our inventoried items with UPS due to their eco
initiatives.
Many of the items we sell are made in the USA. See our list below. Our vendors begin by purchasing raw
materials from the USA, and ensure manufacturing their products in the USA. This way, they reduce shipping
distances both to their facility and out to our customers. Being made in the USA means a lot to us since we live
and work here and so do our employees. You can be sure that our product manufacturer’s employees earn a
better than living wage, receive health care benefits, and receive holiday and vacation pay. By purchasing products from GreenandMore.com and other companies who also
manufacture in the USA you help to perpetuate the local economies of the USA and North America directly.
