- Optional Brushes: Choose either the Mid-sized Power brush model SEB 217 (10.5" wide brush roll) or the Full-sized Power brush model SEB 236 (13 3/8" wide brush roll). Both Power brush heads have a swivel neck for helpful maneuverability. The 217 is great for deep cleaning and restoring crushed carpet nap on low to medium height pile carpets with moderate densities. The 236 brush head has 5 height adjustments making it perfect for use on any type of pile carpeting for deep cleaning and restoration

Expert Review
The Capricorn's Active HEPA Filter and sealed system construction provides excellent air quality as you vacuum by trapping dust and other particles inside the vacuum cleaner. We like the sleek, lightweight design of the new S5 models as they can be easily maneuvered and carried up or down stairs. The Capricorn can be purchased with either the mid-sized power brush for those of us with med-high pile carpeting and not a lot of pet hair, or the more robust full-sized power brush for carpets that need a deeper, more powerful cleaning.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS AND PRODUCT DURABILITY
- All our appliances are the best performers when it comes to saving energy. All of them: Miele is not in the game of packing all its environmental credentials into a single showcase product.
- All Miele appliances are designed to last at least 20 years. That it is better for the environment or household appliances to be long lasting than to have to dispose of two or even three appliances over the same period is obvious. And in this respect, Miele products are clearly the better choice because they are made to a very large extent from metal, which is much easier to recycle. The cast-iron counterweights used by Miele are not only much more resistant in the long-term, but also much kinder to the environment than the concrete blocks used by all other manufacturers.

Summary
At the top of the S5 Series, the Capricorn is packed with convenient luxury features. We really like the +/- finger tip suction controls located on the deluxe swivel handle, the filter change indicator and the automatic shut off feature when the vacuum is placed in the park position. The LED speed indicator is also a nice plus, especially when you are in darker areas and want to adjust your suction. The Capricorn exhibits the quality design expected from Miele, with an Active HEPA filter, large and very efficient 4.8 qt. dust bag, dust bag change indicator, sealed system design, silence insulation, integrated rubber PVC bumpers guards and ability to fit with multiple floor tools and accessories. The Capricorn proves to be a 5-star excellent canister vacuum that can tackle any job.
