Discover the simplistic, natural appeal of our end tables. Most are hand-carved from a solid piece of kiln-dried, sustainable monkey pod wood. Others are made of farmed teak wood or mango wood. Skilled craftsmen from the Chiang Mai area in Thailand create these one-of-a-kind pieces. After each end table is carved and sanded, it is hand-finished to enhance the wood’s natural luster and beauty. Each piece is a unique creation, and as such is more than a piece of furniture, it is a work of art. Some variations may occur.
Due to humidity, the wood ages in front of your eyes as small cracks appear in the grain over time depending on where you live. It's a little piece of life transported straight into your home. Direct sunlight can cause more checking on the ends (cracking), but simply rub in a wood preservative or wax to seal again and enjoy the beauty of the Monkey Pod wood.
