With its patented two heating element design, the Velocity V50 won’t let you down! A high quality stainless steel soleplate with holes at the tip allows for maximum steam penetration, even along those narrow gaps, while ironing your garments. The Velocity V50 is equipped with an automatic shut-off system which once activated will cease to heat and begin to cool the iron down 8 minutes after it was last used. For those who wish to leave the iron on for more than 8 minutes, the V50 also has a steam ready feature that allows the iron to stay on indefinitely. Other outstanding features include temperature display, left and right hand friendly steam activation buttons, 360° swivel cord and anti-scale system for keeping the internal tank clean and in tip-top shape. • Patented continuous steam technology: two heating elements. Internal heating chamber pre-heats the water before it hits the heated soleplate. Ensures continuous volumes of steam, even at low temperatures

How it Works

Conventional irons work by you setting the thermostat on the iron to the required temperature, pressing a button for steam where the water from the reservoir is released to the soleplate and then produces steam. The shortcomings of this method of creating steam are experienced when the temperature you require is too low for the water to be converted to steam. The results are typically spitting water/steam and in some cases ruining the garment.

The Reliable Velocity V50 compact vapor generator irons work differently by using two heating elements. The first heating element is mounted inside the iron, and is used to pre-heat the water to steam temperature. The second heating element is built right into the soleplate and is controlled by the digital buttons on the irons handle. Because the water is pre-heating using the first heating element, no matter what temperature setting you choose for your soleplate, you only get dry, even steam without spitting
