Setup/Care

The LidLight takes just a couple minutes to install. Simply drill a 1 3/4" hole in your box lid with the hole saw (included), drop the solar charging system in from the top, and screw the strong retaining ring onto the bottom. The LidLight is totally sealed and so is your box.

How it Works

There's an internal tilt switch so that your LidLight only comes on when you open the box. The LidLight will charge in virtually any light (faster in bright sunlight, slower in overcast conditions). The internal NmH battery will hold a charge for up to three months, so even when your car is stored in a garage, the light will work. Just a few hours outside will charge it enough for several hours of use.
