Features

• Always On Outlets: Plug anything you do not want turned off, such as a fax machine or cordless phone, into these outlets. Power to these outlets is always on.
• Control Outlet: Plug your computer or television into this outlet. This outlet controls the "Control Outlets." When the appliance plugged into this outlet is off, such as a computer or TV, it will automatically turn off any equipment plugged into the "Controlled Outlets" such as a computer monitor or DVD player. • Controlled Outlets:Plug peripherals such as a monitor, printer, DVD player or satellite receiver into these outlets
• Sensitivity Adjuster: Fine tunes your Smart Strip so it works properly with connected equipment.
• Controlled Outlets Indicator Light: When lit, indicates that the controlled outlets are on
• ON/OFF Circuit Breaker Switch: On/off switch and circuit breaker are combined.
• Ground & Surge Protection Indicator: LED light shows the unit is working properly.

How it Works

The Smart Strip allows you to reduce your energy consumption. For instance, if you plug your computer (or other device) into the blue "Control" outlet and your peripherals (printer, scanner, etc.) into the white "Automatically Switched" outlets. When you turn the PC (or other device) on, the Smart Strip turns on those outlets and when you turn the PC off, the Smart Strip completely cuts power to those outlets.
